Good Evening Everyone, an update on the Summer Season 2020 final series from Coburg Basketball Association:
After considering advice from government/medical authorities, Basketball Victoria (BV), Basketball Australia (BA)- Coburg Basketball Association (CBA) has decided to take the actions detailed below.
These decisions are not taken lightly and are considered to be in the best interests of the CBA members
The finals series for this summer season has been cancelled.
Teams finishing first and second on the ladder after 29th February are deemed to be the premiers and runner-up for the season. No trophies will be issued.
Planning and preparations for Winter 2020 Season will continue
Please note that updates and amendments will be advised as appropriate to meet the constantly changing situation.
The decision to suspend all games has been made by Basketball Victoria to ensure the health and wellbeing of all players, coaches, referees and staff are maintained.

Newlands Basketball Club is moving forward in its preparation of Winter Season 2020. All players are to register as previously advised. If the Winter Season does no proceed all funds will rollover to Summer Season 2021. The Basketball Victoria annual fee, to my understanding, the anniversary date will be triggered by the first game scheduled.
